We also breed registered Texas Longhorns on property in Van Zandt county. We are breeding ours mainly for producing high quality longhorns with superior conformation, disposition, color and HORNS. We are considering raising some to produce meat for ourselves and others. Longhorn meat is leaner than white meat chicken, & tastes great! We think it will be the red meat of choice as soon as the word gets out!
